Adam Snyder

I’ve been a freelance writer all my life (except for my first job as press secretary in the U.S. Congress). While I’m currently writing fiction, I’ve helped numerous CEOs write their memoirs and companies write their corporate histories, including:
-
Looking Up: My Story & Our Rise in Manhattan Real Estate by Stephen L. Green, chairman of SL Green Realty, the largest owner of commercial real estate in Manhattan (2019)
-
Staying Bothered: Through Pain, Betrayal, Hope, and Humor Jamie Amelio (2019)
-
Starting and Growing an Independent Consultant Practice: Lessons From Those Who Have Been There and Done It with Dr. Bruce Katcher, president of Discovery Surveys (AMACOM Books, 2010).
On top of that, I am President of Rembrandt Films, founded by my father, William L. Snyder, who won an Oscar in 1961for the animated short, MUNRO, about a four-year-old boy drafted into the U.S. Army. In Prague, he produced Rembrandt Film's Popeye and Rembrandt Films' Tom and Jerry cartoons, and a controversial early version of Tolkien’s The Hobbit, the First Animated Hobbit by Gene Deitch, which receives YouTube raves and pans almost daily.
Rembrandt Films is also the distributor of classic animation films by Czech puppet animation master, Jiri Trnka, and the animated shorts from the legendary Zagreb Film Studio. I produced:
-
The Animated Century, a 90-minute documentary on the history of animation.
-
The Nudnik Show/Nudnik Revealed, a 13-part half-hour children's series that has aired in more than 15 countries.
-
The Worst Cartoons Ever!, a collection of the worst cartoons ever made!
-
Children’s films based on award-winning picture books.
I’m a NY Mets, Giants and Knicks fan and have stuck by them, good and bad, watching live games wherever we are in the world.
